2017: A Year in Review - One for the Ages

When taking a moment to finally reflect on 2017 and where we are now as a company, the first word that comes to mind is “Wow”…

After coming off a record year in 2016, our team at Alliance had our sights on another milestone year. Momentum was strong and demand was an all-time high after company record-breaking numbers. Our team continued to grow throughout the year, with new staff and opportunities to expand divisions to meet our clients need. With that, comes new challenges and adaptations, which ultimately, would come to define 2017 for us.

We have come out of 2017 stronger than ever, with many new learned lessons and improvements, and have proven we have the ability to adapt to ever-changing times in the industry in order to sustain being a leader amongst our peers. We once again walked away with several prestigious awards and recognitions in the industry such as Firestone Master Contractor 2017, Carlisle ESP Award 2017, GAF Master Select 2017, and also the GAF Certified Maintenance Professional recognition. Despite many challenges this year with excessive rainfall and harsh weather systems, we are proud to announce we successfully installed over 4,000,000 Square Feet of warranted flat roof systems and completed numerous standout projects across Ontario ranging from all types of ICI roof systems.

2017 was a big year for Alliance and the community, as we continued to be a large presence in local communities all across the GTA giving back to local charities and kids sports programs. We also participated in many fundraising events to give back to those in need and maintain our relationship with the many inspiring figures who play crucial roles in supporting our communities’ needs.

A standout performer this year was our improved PREV/ACTION Maintenance Partnership program, which is designed to extend the life of flat roof systems and improve the bottom line for asset management teams. PREV/ACTION continues to be a cutting edge preventative maintenance program and a critical component to national business leaders’ asset management efforts. Feedback is extremely positive and clients are continuing to request for it to be implemented into their asset management programs. We have been able to adapt to our clients’ evolving needs and growing demand for more dynamic information when managing their assets by allocating several resources towards research and development with new technology and enhanced systems. As a result, PREV/ACTION has now become the only preventative maintenance program of its kind.

Our goal for next year is to continue to exceed client expectations with excellent workmanship, and a high standard for communication and safety. We are energetic to continue this incredible path of growth and expansion, and look forward to new challenges and highlights with our many valued client partnerships.
